Why we chose it: It gives you colour without the dry, rigid feel of many long-wear lipsticks. Plant oils and waxes create enough slip for quick application, while the pigment can be layered from softer to richer.

What it does: It adds even colour with a comfortable satin-style finish. Castor, jojoba, grape seed, safflower and argan oils help the bullet glide over the lips and reduce a tight, dry feel.

Texture & Finish: Creamy, smooth and buildable. The lighter shades can look sheerer, while deeper shades deliver stronger colour with fewer passes.

Worth Knowing: This is not a transfer-proof liquid lipstick. Eating and drinking will soften the colour, so expect to reapply. Very dry lips should be exfoliated gently and moisturised first.

For a clean edge, use a lip brush or the top edge of the bullet to line around the lips before filling in with the fullest part of the lipstick. Make sure lips are prepped smooth and moisturised before application.Top Tip: Try a lip gloss over your lipstick to add a high gloss finish to your favourite shade. Blot lips before applying a second layer of lipstick for added longevity.
1. Using a lip brush or the top edge of the bullet apply to the top lip, starting at the centre and following the shape of the lip for precision application.
2. Repeat as above for the lower lip and then press lips together to ensure you have maximum coverage over the full lip.
