TIPS

1. Make the most of the water you soaked your cocoons in and rinse your face after exfoliating. It is precious as it also contains the miraculous silk proteins and amino acids!

2. Silk proteins are known for their conditioning properties as well. So, transfer the water you soaked your cocoons in a spray bottle, spray your hair and enjoy silky, shine hair!

3. You can exfoliate the sensitive area under your eyes as silk cocoons are gentle with your skin without damaging the skin barrier or creating micro cuts. Well, don't scrub with all your might, though!

Soak - Start by soaking the silk cocoon in boiled water for a few minutes. This softens the cocoon and helps silk components to be released to the surface of the cocoon, making it ready for use.

Cleanse - Gently cleanse your face, as usual, to remove makeup and dirt. It's best to use a mild, sulfate-free cleanser.

Massage - Slip the softened silk cocoon onto your fingertip like a thimble and with a gentle circular motion, exfoliate your face. Pay extra attention to areas with rough or dry skin.

Dry - After exfoliation dry your face gently with a towel. Ideally, wait for a few minutes so that your skin absorbs all nutrients.

Moisturize - Finish your skincare routine by applying your preferred moisturizer or serum. Your skin will absorb these products more effectively after exfoliation with Maysan silk cocoons.

Care and Storage - Store in a dry place and dispose the silk cocoons after each use as they have absorbed dead skin cells and dirt. They are 100% biodegradable and compostable so they don’t burden our planet.
